Who has the greater influence over YOUR children?

Who has the greater influence over YOUR children?  Is it the state (what is being taught in the government controlled public schools) or YOU (the parents, via homeschooling or private tutoring/private schooling where the parents either choose the curriculum or have viewed and approved it ahead of time)?

Think about that for a moment.  Now, answer this question...WHO do you WANT to be the primary influence over your children?  Oh, yeah?  Then WHAT are YOU going to do about it?

(Note:  When I quote statements that I agree with, it does not necessarily mean that I agree with other viewpoints of that particular person. So, please don't assume that I have endorsed Ron Paul or any other person for political office unless I so indicate.)
