I will have two students this year. My grandson doesn't have to officially begin grade K this year due to the fact that his birthday falls after Sept. 30, but after having gone through two years of preschool, I feel that he is ready to move on. We'll see how it goes. If he isn't quite ready for grade 1 this time next year, no big deal! My granddaughter will be 3 soon, so she will technically begin preschool classes, but I have a feeling she will absorb much of her brother's grade K lessons.
