Paper Bag Scarecrow Craft...

 

 

 Stuff a small paper lunch bag with shredded newspaper or plastic grocery bags.  Fold down the top two or three times and staple closed.  Glue on facial details made from construction paper or copy scarecrow pattern onto cardstock paper and color/cut-out.  Pattern can be obtained from www.AllKidsNetwork.com

We did not have a small paper lunch bag, so we used a slightly larger one and enlarged our hat pattern to fit.  The "straw" hair is made from strips cut from construction paper, and large "wiggle" eyes were used, as well as feathers to decorate the hat.
